VIN WAUZZZ4CZNN001684 Audi V8 1992 (4.2 LPG, Automatic)

Hello,
For sale Audi V8 D11 with 4.2 engine and 280 hp (unit code ABH) - only 4,000 copies were produced with this engine. The car in my possession for two years. During this period I drove it about 700 km - mainly to rallies or during rides in the city. The car more during this period of time was treated as an object to polish and to escape from the hardships of everyday life (so that there was something to sit with in the garage ;) ). During this period a huge amount of work, money and dedication was put in what I think you can see in the photos and video attached to the ad.
What has actually been done ?
- Engine pulled, washed, sealed, repainted valve covers, timing gear, bowls, etc.
- New timing gear + thermostat and pump, new accessory belt, new belt vibration damper, new front cushion
- A new custom radiator from Chlodnic-Pol (the cost is terrible, but there are no more good radiators on the market)
- changed brakes to brakes from S6 C5 after restoration (I add the old ones as a free gift), changed all hoses in the car
- Overhauled entire front suspension (new springs, shocks, guards, sled bushings, bolts in galvanized, columns and stabilizer bar with sled powder, etc.).
- alignment
- changed all operating fluids with filters (engine oil, transmission oil, diff oil, hydraulic system oil, coolant)
- Running the air conditioning (mainly new orings on the front of the car and mastering the electrics)
- Reconditioning of the clocks (replacing the pinion, correcting virtually all the solders)
- cleaning the spider, improving cold solders in relays and other modules (central control pump, seat controller, cruise control, mirror lowering controller, etc.), repair of cruise control, repair of the retractable antenna, repair of the central locking control from the remote control (here an interesting fact, the key remembers the setting of the seat and when unlocked from the remote control, the seat and mirrors set themselves) - electrically the car is fully covered, because of my profession, it brought me the greatest pleasure, and all of the electrics are in working order.
- cleaning the front fenders (bottoms and lugs) and repainting them
- Tackling the recesses of the rear wheel arches (there was already a hole on the fuel filler side - it was cut out, welded, and sealed)
- from the known history of the car it was repainted about 12 years ago all over - out of curiosity after checking with a meter it is between 250 - 450 all over the car - so it is correct
- Bose launch - two amplifiers were missing, the radio was non-original. Currently a Bose is put in, the front panel is only from a regular Gamma as it has a non-spilt display, the original front with Bose lettering I can throw in.
- wash the interior, polish the decors and counter - shine what is supposed to shine, and matte/satin is what is supposed to be satin ;)
Zeby not so rosy it is known that this is an old car and there will always be something. However, there is no thing here that needs to be done "at once" because the car does not run or drives uncertainly. No, of the things that would be worth doing are :
- Front brake discs - they take a bit of a beating when braking from higher speeds; however, this may also be the fault of the lack of a centering sleeve for the hub from D11
- Rear suspension - I wanted to do the whole car like my other Audi 100 C3 2.2T, that is, paint the entire rear suspension just like the front, put new bushings, etc. - here, due to the fact that I have to sell the car, I leave it for the future owner. So that the car does not stand on the jack for a long time, for a determined buyer I will add a complete rear suspension from quattro so that he could prepare it for himself, paint and armor and give the screws to galvanize.
- joint(s) on the shaft - you can hear a "click" when changing the direction of rotation of the shaft, whether it's a harder reduction - I checked on the lift and theoretically the front joint is only to be replaced, but with the planned overhaul of the chassis I wanted to recondition the entire shaft anyway
- it would be nice to replace the WN wires in a while - I did not do it, and sometimes there will be a single ignition loss; I checked in the dark by spraying a mist of water and a slight sparkle appeared
Of the flaws that it would be good to mention yet is that the previous owner unfortunately treated the underside of the car with some durabit - I already partially from some parts tried to wash it off. For me it is a flaw and that's why I mention it - for another it may be just information (photos of how it looks I have, I can share, there is no terrible tragedy). Where "maintenance" has not reached you can see a nice original maintenance. Sheet metal has no holes. In addition, on the rear left door, there were really small dashes - minimal cracks in the paint the thickness of a hair or less (only visible up close) - also I can send photos.
Is there anything else? It seems to me that no. Feel free to talk and ask questions - I'll be happy to answer them. I have a lot of parts that I can add - of course, if the buyer will be normal ;)
The car has a digital white card made - I didn't act further with it because I couldn't decide whether I wanted yellow plates or not.
